Lonsdale backs expanding dental platform

A dental platform lining up an expansion across England and Wales has been acquired by Lonsdale Capital Partners. The Richardson family business, advised by RCL Partners, is also investing.

Todays Dental Group (TDGL) currently comprises eight practices and has plans to grow its presence to 50-strong.

Lonsdale is backing chief executive Rob Paxman, and his team, which has significant commercial, clinical and operational experience as a result of their previous extensive tenures within larger dental corporates.

In addition to facilitating TDGL's roll-out plans, Lonsdale will also provide strategic counsel, support investment in the group head office function, and will be active on the company's board.
